Daniel Goleman, Ph.D., is a psychologist and science journalist best-known for his writings on emotional intelligence. At the New York Times he reported on the brain and behavioral sciences for many years. His book Emotional Intelligence was a New York Times best-seller, and was popular in many countries around the world. In addition to his books on emotional intelligence, Goleman has written several on meditation, including Altered Traits, which reviews the many benefits of meditation and how it transforms the brain. His book Why We Meditate was co-authored with a Tibetan Lama and details that teacher’s meditation path.
Tara and Daniel started out years ago – and continue – giving workshops together, long before Daniel wrote about emotional intelligence, and before Tara wrote her book Emotional Alchemy. One of our early workshops was called “Emotional Wisdom.” As we deepened our experience with this work it evolved into the Regenerative Connections™ Series, largely based on Tara’s work with contributions from Daniel and collaborators.
